Four Big 12 assistant men's basketball coaches, including three in the top nine, have been ranked among the best in the nation in a survey of coaching professionals conducted and published by FoxSports.com. Texas coach Russell Springmann was ranked as the top assistant nationally. He is followed by Joe Dooley (Kansas), Matt Driscoll (Baylor) and Rodney Terry (Texas).

FoxSports.com recently released a ranking of 20 high-major and 10 mid-major coaches from its poll of more than 450 coaches and basketball professionals in the United States.
