Tickets for 2009 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball First- and Second- Round Action at Sprint Center On Sale

The Road to the 2009 Final Four will begin at Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo. The venue will see its first NCAA Championship action when the Big 12 Conference hosts 2009 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball First- and Second- Rounds on Thursday, March 19 and Saturday, March 21. Fans can visit www.ncaa.com/tickets to apply for tickets. Tickets will be assigned based on the order the applications were received. If the demand exceeds supply, a random drawing will be held to select recipients. Each all-session ticket is $189 plus applicable fees and includes a ticket for two sessions on Thursday, March 19, and one session on Saturday, March 21, for a total of three tickets for six games. All ticket requests must be submitted through the NCAA web site by May 15, 2008. Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis and tickets are expected to be mailed to applicants mid-February 2009.
The 65-team field for the 2009 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship will be announced on Sunday, March, 15, 2009, live on CBS at 5 p.m. (CT).
The NCAA reminds fans that purchasing tickets from secondary, unauthorized vendors may result in fraudulent purchases. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets from NCAA member institutions or companies authorized by the NCAA to sell or resell championship tickets.
